Documentary Films have never been a big part of mainstream cinemas the likes of Hoyts or Village, but as many people predict that downfall of cinemas in favour media being delivered to the home. Documentary Films may follows this trend, by bypassing the the cinema screen and being sent straight to the home cinema. This would be for a positive for us living in Australia who often have to wait much longer for Documentarys made in foreign countries, although this used to be true for most movies, the gap between America and Australia in terms of release dates for movies is narrowing, with Australia getting blockbuster films at the same time or even before America.
